Nubia revisited
In 1963 we crossed Africa from Johannesburg to Germany
by Volkswagen. Lake Nasser had not flooded the ancient
ruins in Nubia yet.
In 2012 we revisited Nubia, some
of the ancient monuments have been relocated, others
are gone forever.
The people have been relocated too,
some around aswan, others 600 km to the south in the
Sudan.
A documentation of two countries 50 years apart.
